Flint Beginning Years

About Me The journey!

How it all started … In 2011 I was approached by a family member, who is a website designer. He had created the website www.flintholidayhomemanagementcornwall and set it live on google. However, he took a change in direction in his career from what this website could offer and wondered if I would be interested. At the age of 20 I embraced this opportunity with both hands was determined to make this work, i relocated to Cornwall in 2012 from Leicestershire with my family to start this new exciting adventure, i became inundated with enquires and calls from many holiday home owners.

By 2013, I was settled in a small 1 bedroom apartment, in the centre of Newquay. I transformed a corner of my lounge into an office area and from this location I started building the business and recruiting staff. After only six months I had gained a range of holiday homes to manage and decided more space was required to grow I met the manager of Prow park ‘’ storage containers/ business park’’ at Treloggan Industrial Estate, Newquay. The manager offered for me to lease a small office located in a large building which also had the facility for me to store all the linen. I signed on the dotted line and now had my first official office.

In 2017, the company had gone from strength to strength and I had outgrown my office and linen store … it was time to relocate. My new spacious office and linen store is located in ,Treloggan Trade Park Newquay. I now have 3 office staff, 75 housekeepers and a maintenance team behind me. I have achieved so much in 4 years and am looking forward to flourishing further continuing to build my business by managing more properties here at flint.
